At First United Methodist Church, we encourage all of our members to find mission areas they can plug into and have an impact for the Kingdom of God.
As an important step in discovering where you may best ‘fit’ in mission & ministry based upon your SHAPE (Spiritual Gifts, Heart/Passion, Ability, Personality, Experiences), we encourage you to take this Spiritual Gifts Test and use the results as a way to help guide you in finding your place to live out the love of God and neighbor. The pastors and leaders welcome discussing your fit further so please contact them using the ‘Contact Us’ portion on this site.
The Missions Team is made up of persons who are involved with and willing to help connect others in living out the love of God and neighbor. We encourage you to become involved in any of these areas in which you may have a special calling. Call the church office for more information on how to connect with our Go Serve teams.
