Feed, Clothe, Teach, Grow and Connect

Our vision is to welcome neighbors in need with radical hospitality, prioritizing dignity,

provision, and empowerment as we offer assistance, build relationships, and create

connections. At FUMC, we offer tangible relief in the form of food, clothing, household items,

and utility assistance to those struggling with financial insecurity and displacement.

FUMC Backpack Buddies feed over 100 children each week and our numbers grow weekly. Each week bags of food are packed and distributed via our local schools to children needing nutrition on the weekend. Because of financial and food donations, we are able to continue to feed these children throughout each summer as well. This ministry is supported completely from private donations and foundation support. If you’d like to join our teams of Backpack Buddies, email Jamie Dark at jamiewdark@yahoo.com.
